Multi-touch touch screen for linux
I am looking for a model of touch glass, which has the following qualities:
1. Support for the linux kernel. Installing proprietary drivers is not welcome.
2. Support for multi-touch - from two touches or more.
Also interested in multitouch support in linux in general. The manufacturers themselves (for example, 3M) claim that at the moment linux does not support multi-touch, and applications that can work with it.
After digging into the kernel sources, I assume that 3.2+ kernels have support for hid-multitouch, and in theory, most devices on the market will work out of the box. But it is the fact of a successful launch that is of interest, so as not to buy a useless piece of iron.
I really hope that someone has experience with such devices under linux.
