MS Access: entering data into the database from the phone?
Please tell me, is it possible to access the Access database from the phone to enter data?
Not viewing the contents of the database, not creating and editing the database, namely entering data? Well, let's say there is a database with a furniture inventory table, and I walk around the floor with my phone and enter data about chairs into the database from the phone. Or is it too bold and brazen?
Paid options are perfectly acceptable if they exist.

The Access database supports only file access, i.e. it must be available as a file in an extended folder (on the local network) or on a working PC.
The access option you describe from the phone implies network access, that is, the application on your phone makes a request to the web service and it performs the necessary actions.
There are two possible solutions.
The first (correct) one has already been described to you - the transition to a network database.
The second is unconventional. You need to raise a web server with an API that will listen to http requests and perform database manipulations. The database in this case should be stored on the hosting (do not forget about file access).
Is ms access required?
Why choose such an inconvenient tool and storage location?
There are no problems with online, Google and Microsoft have, incl. free (large limits), analogues of the office, incl. working with tabular data and writing simple forms to fill in
* google - google docs ( google drive ) and its google forms tools and script support, its own document format, support for converting to popular formats
* microsoft - live office as part of its office 365 product, integrated with OneDrive, incl. native support for office documents (the interface in the browser almost completely repeats the office suite, but simplified)
There are many packages similar to Microsoft's office packages, many can work offline, but in the end, if you need something more than filling out plates, do it yourself (have an employee on staff) who, based on open standards and technologies, will encode what you need, you will also have money pay, but not to Microsoft or Google, but to your person.
