MRT process eating up all RAM and all CPU resources mac?

Started terribly stupid laptop. I looked in the system monitoring there, the MRT process gobbled up 21GB of memory (moved a lot to swap). When you finish it, it starts all over again.

Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29). My OS version. Found a solution at https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/296339/m... But the steps are similar to the solution Alexey Timofeev suggests .
