Mp3 player with hard buttons?

Task: to purchase an mp3 player with good sound and hard buttons.
In search of a candidate, I reviewed / listened to a bunch of players, Cowon C2 turned out to be the closest to the ideal. BUT it does not have hardware prev | next buttons (there is only sound, and there is no possibility to reassign the functions of these buttons). Dear habrocitizens, what can you advise?

On D2+, the -|+ buttons act as prev|next when disabled. Doesn't this focus work on C2? He seems to be the offspring of D2+.

I still use iRiver T10.
Too bad it's not for sale. The first one served for a year, until I accidentally forgot it on the bank of the river when we overcame it.
The second is still alive - for 3-4 years.
Pros - use of finger batteries / accumulators. For me, this is really important. Since it allows you to simply remove the charged one from your pocket at the end of the charge and change it in 10 seconds.
The second point is that it takes a very long time. Declared 35 hours of play ... and this is not a marketing wiring - it lasts much longer than many modern players and lithium flat batteries.
The buttons are all hardwired, since it's not a touchscreen.
Cons - not noticed. Is it now that you can’t buy a new one, but only from your hands.

Creative ZEN V / V Plus. No touchscreen, just hard buttons.
+ small
+ handy
+ good sound quality
- 8GB maximum memory (not expandable)
- video playback function is just for show (the screen is very small)

I still have this: market.yandex.ru/model.xml?hid=90560 Completely satisfied, and the buttons are normal hardware, sometimes they creak.

Plus to Sony - I recently took the NWZ-A866 (including because of the hardware buttons), the sound is decent.

If shuffle, then iPod Nano. There seems to be a different chip used. There are hardware buttons. The best thing is that you can use headsets with volume control, pause, rewind.
The worst thing is that there is no moisture protection and BT

I use cowon i9, that's it for music.
There is a sensor and 3 hard buttons, their mode depends on the position of the lock lever.
In the locked mode, it is possible to assign the volume buttons as rewind + switching tracks (long-short press), the third button works as a pause / start. To change the volume, it turns out you need to unlock it, but the need for this occurs infrequently.
