Moving to a new domain when the old one is in the search results for 100+?

Hello. If a site doesn't rank and is far in the search for 100+ pages, is it worth changing the domain and starting from 0?
Interested in the question to a greater extent at the expense of the content on the old site.
If I tie a new domain to the old content (I cut down the old domain at the same time), how will the search engines react to this?

They can glue domains if they find that the content is the same. And if you use the domain change function (for example, Yandex has it), then it will transfer all the characteristics over time (TIC or whatever it is now).
It also depends on a bunch of factors, and the age of the domain matters here! For example, a domain less than a year old, or a domain 10 years old is a big difference. IMHO, if not under filters, then the old domain (if its age is large) is easier to raise in the search. But if he has already been banned by search engines, or has been seen somewhere in spam, or in cheating, it is better not to suffer with him further.
