Moving sources in OpenAL
Hello Khabrovchane, I have a question for developers who have used or are using OpenAL. Recently I started working with this technology, something has already happened, but I wanted to try the main highlight of OpenAL. This is the volume of the sound. Since the sound playback is asynchronous, I decided to play and then move the source in a loop. However, when playing, I did not feel any changes. Then I decided to use Google and found this example and this one and still did not feel the difference.
I use: Linux 3.0, Ubuntu 11.10, PulseAudio, GCC 4.6, Code::Blocks 10.5, freealut 3.0
Question: What should be added to the code so that it still feels large, or is it about drivers and OS?
Thanks in advance!
PS Answers from programmers of other languages (Java, C, C#, python, etc) are also interesting.
