Move Unity Dash down?

There is such a plugin for moving Dash down - Unity Shell Rotated. This has already been written about in many places, for example here .
Installed, went to CompizConfig Settings Manager, disabled Unity Shell, enabled Unity Shell Rotated. Messages about conflicts, I resolved them all - and that's it. Zero reaction. For the sake of experiment, I turned off both - everything is the same. Unity starts up, Dash hangs on the side.
What to do?

you need to restart the unit. it seems to be like this: unity --replace, but it's better to google.
