Why does Ubuntu keep freezing?
Good afternoon! I recently installed Ubuntu on my laptop. And when the laptop is connected to power, the system works fine, but as soon as I turn off the power (i.e., the laptop starts running on battery power), then after a while Ubuntu freezes tightly, I have to reboot. With what it can be connected?

Lord ... what's the difference between turning on the laptop and turning it off? Most likely there are 2 vidyuhi. Built-in and external. Continue?)
Something related to the power supply has poor quality drivers.
In Linux, everything is bad with firewood, especially with power supply: two of my laptops had problems with it.
Back at the time when I thought that Linux was suitable for installing on a laptop.
In the power settings when running on battery, see if the option to slow down the hard drives is worth it. Turn it off if it's worth it.
Look at the logging system. Maybe there's a record somewhere of what's going on.
Look at the power settings, I also have it on Windows. You cut it out from the source, it starts to lag hard
There was a similar problem. The problem is most likely with the vidyuhi. Here is a sample for work: tuksik.ru/2-videocard
If you are not going to drive "heavy" games on it, then just turn off the discrete video card.
