It is necessary to connect one network camera to motion via rtsp.
The task is to give several users access to this camera, but with their own settings, osd text, movement, etc.
Question: in the case of using thread, will there be one connection to the camera, or for each user separately? I'm afraid that the camera will not drag 20 connections

connect the server to the camera, then encode different streams, make a kind of proxy, and from this proxy with the necessary overlay
you give it to people. Alternatively, add the camera to the motion several times, and make different "channels" with your signatures.
But I would do this - vlc clung to the camera via rtsp, then with VLC I would give it to motion as many times as needed different channels (signatures). then the connection will be to the camera exactly 1pc.
Total chain - cameras> server (VLC)> the same server (Motion)> clients
