Monitoring tools for windows server, AD?
Hello. I need a couple of tips for a young specialist :)
Monitoring experience is available as a linux admin.
Now I want to know about Windows, what software is already installed on the windows server for monitoring? How can you monitor BP? Explain to me what an audit is and how to use it.
Thank you!

Windows has Performance Monitor. But in general - Windows can be monitored by the same means as linux. I mean external monitoring systems - Zabbix, for example.
What exactly do you want to monitor in AD? Look at the list of counters that are in the performance monitor, and choose something from there :-)
Auditing is logging security events. Written in the Security magazine. Use -- like all logs. You set up the categories of events that interest you, and all events from these categories begin to pour into the log.
