MODXrev Do you need a sass folder for modx?

Good evening. Need help understanding deployment when working on cms modx revolution. The project is built using gulp + sass. The question is actually this: Do I need the sass directory and all the offal from gulp in the root of the site on the virtual server, if, as I understand it correctly, modx does not process them in any way, but immediately pulls up .min.css? And how to change the code in this case? Compile .min.css on local pc and upload it to server already? Confused :3

I’ll tell you about the MODX root - I wouldn’t keep anything extra there, if you need something, hide it in folders inside the root, in assets, etc.
It’s hard for me to say exactly how it’s arranged there, without seeing it .. but if it takes an already generated minified file, then the offal is probably not needed ..
Why think, check it quickly, put it in a temporary folder, make changes to the minified style, it works ? Profit!
