Modx or October CMS?
Hello. Question to those who have developed deeply on modx Revo and October CMS. What are the pros and cons of October CMS versus Modx Revo? Is there the same list of ready-made solutions as on Modx: ms2gallery, pdotools, msearch2 (this is especially interesting due to the good and flexible filtering system)? Thank you.

Ufolob , MODX's only advantage over October remains, but not for long, the number of ready-made integrations for e-commerce with popular services in the CIS.
Everything else for solving the problems of a typical project is there. I've argued in favor of October more than once here on Toaster in a direct comparison to MODX. Look at other topics under the OctoberCMS tag and you will surely find my comments.
Briefly. Forget MODX, it became morally obsolete 5 years ago and nothing good is foreseen for its future. For more than six years they have not been able to release a major update that even technically aligned MODX with modern CMS.
Having mastered October, you will learn how to work with modern approaches in PHP development and come close to serious development on Laravel. And having mastered the latter, you can choose the most suitable tool for solving the problem.
