MK levels 3.3v 5v and module reset?

Hello,
c3232c842b75467e84041058b1aa856a.jpg
how can I implement a software reset of the esp module if I take an arduino and want to restart the module
from the arduina / atmega when it hangs or when the reset is pressed (when loading the arduina ... etc. 5v on the legs here 3
here is the level matching scheme

but as I understand it that I don’t give a damn about matching and I need to take a transistor and

or you can do it like in the easyelectronics circuit with matching and keep the transistor open all the time (I don’t know how it is inverted there or not ...)

The above circuit on the field device is needed for bidirectional data transfer between chips with different power supplies (for example, when connecting an ESP module to GPIOs powered by 5 volts). No level conversion is needed for RESET.
A transistor will suffice, just a resistor in the base, not in the emitter. It is also not clear where the "software" reset signal will come from. You may need another transistor to invert the signal - it all depends on the specific implementation.
