mini development board
A question for experienced people - please tell me a convenient way to develop circuits with miniature elements. Just recently I bought a DS2408, I want to play around, but the catch is that the module has dimensions of about 15x5mm and a very small distance between the legs. Either immediately solder to the board, or you need something like a miniature breadboard (for ordinary ones, the distance between the holes is large). I don’t want to solder to the board, and I don’t have a soldering iron at hand, but maybe there are some convenient ways to hook contacts to the legs of such small modules?

Adapters are sometimes made or bought.
For example, www.aliexpress.com/item/PLCC44-to-DIP40-EZ-Programmer-Adapter-Socket/621691271.html
Making your own is just as easy.
As far as I can see from the datasheet, the DS2408 is packaged in SOIC-16, not that rare, you can look for ready-made solutions.
Oh, thank you very much. exactly, there are adapters from SOIC to DIP.
