Mikrotik L2TP-server+IPsec: where does this log entry come from and how to get rid of it?
Good day.
Configured microta as an L2TP server + IPsec. Accepts connections from 2 offices. The connection goes through, clients have been working on the basis of microt for almost two months, but I am confused by the entry in the microt log: ipsec, error authtype mistmatched: my: hmac-sha1 peer: hmac-md5 .
How would it work - do not touch of course, but why so? I understand that this is happening during the revision of the IPsec SA. If you can get rid of this, please tell me how. Thanks in advance.
PS "Problem" connection was not configured by me. Honestly not me! :)

well, everything works fine for you for one half ..)
who set it up - first wanted to raise the l2tp transport and encrypt it at the ends ..
in fact, the transport works, but without encryption it just drives the traffic directly .. coordinate
the ipsec policies and the error will disappear
