Mikrotik L2TP/IPSEC and Windows client what's the problem?
What a day I've been struggling with the problem of connecting to a VPN from under windows. With MacOS, Andriod, everything connects perfectly.
I didn’t really find any information on the Internet that there is definitely some kind of problem, everything works fine for everyone. I tried to connect from different computers running Windows 10, 8.
Version RouterOS 6.47.1.
In the logs, this is the result when trying to connect from under windows:
respond new phase 1 (Identity Protection): {serverIP}[500]<=>{clientIP}[500]
ISAKMP-SA established {serverIP}[4500]-{clientIP}[ 4500] spe {set of letters with a colon}
this whole thing hangs for 30 seconds and then
purging ISAKMP-SA established {serverIP}[4500]-{clientIP}[4500] spe {set of letters with a colon}
ISAKMP-SA deleted {serverIP}[4500]-{clientIP}[4500] spe {set of letters with colon}

Setup at first ipSec correctly. For example, according to the manual with MUM where everything is painted step by step and on the shelves. If everything is done as it should be, then there will be no problems.
I don't know about l2tp/ipsec, but normal ipsec on certificates with Windows takes off with a bang.
Well, how is it set up now? and how did you try to solve the problem? firework turned off?
try long-term firmware. Try leaving the default ipsec settings
