Mikrotik

Mikrotik hap ac2 cannot be reset to factory settings. Am I wrong or messed up?

I do a reset like this.
Set the reset button next to the power jack.
Plug in the block.
I'm waiting until the yusr blinks often. LED next to the power indicator.
I release the button.

I'm waiting a few minutes.

There is no Mikrotik grid without a password.
I'm trying with cable. IP is not issued in any of the 5 slots. I assign static 192.168.88.12 on the computer. One is silent.

Where is the error in the reset procedure?

Perhaps the button was held longer than necessary and Netinstall started instead of resetting - try again, but release as soon as the LED blinks.
If you are unable to reset the device, you can start it in Netinstall mode by holding the reset button for a long time during boot. Then, using the Netinstall utility, upload a new firmware, or simply clear the memory (reset) from there.

Potentially, Protected Routerboot can be enabled without knowing the correct interval, or without knowing the administrator password, or by cutting off access to itself, the router will not respond to pressing the reset button, it will not let you do anything with it even if you solder the console, in short a beautiful brick. You can read the details
here or on the wiki.

mikrotik has two reset modes, the first one is factory settings with presets from the factory, that is, the factory configuration of the NAT DHCP firewall, etc. and a full reset without any settings, the router will only be available at the poppy address
