Mikrotik CHR-6.4: How to make VRRP work?

Mikrotik CHR-6.4 runs under VmWare 14.1.1 build-7528167
Ubuntu 18.04 host machine The
virtual machine is given the only host ethernet interface in bridge mode,
the network card in linux is defined as Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 09)
replaced the virtual machine driver with vmxnet3 and enabled promiscuous mode.
I created a typical configuration using examples on the Internet (so far without a backup router):
eth1: 192.168.111.1/24
vrrp: 192.168.111.254/32
vrrp interface rises in master mode, inside the router 192.168.111.254 is pinged.
I set an ip address on the host machine in the same broadcast domain 192.168.111.5/24 ping mikrotik:
ping 192.168.111.1 is pinged
ping 192.168.111.254 is not pinged.
At the same time, a correct entry appears in the arp table of the host machine for 192.168.111.254 with the MAC address of the vrrp interface.
A similar configuration works fine with the iron MikroTik rb2011uas-2HnD.
I assume that there are nuances with CHR or VMWare network adapter drivers.
Has anyone managed to raise VRRP in CHR-6.4 under VMWare?
