Migration from LXC to VMWARE. Advantages and disadvantages?
Greetings. I have a server with LXC deployed and 10 containers (mostly web services). I like the fact that server resources are used as much as possible without the cost of virtualization, consuming disk space. Now the average server load is 40% for CPU, 70% for disk, 20% for RAM.
I would like to switch to full-fledged virtualization for more convenient management, machine migration, snapshots, etc.
Hence the question: what will I lose in performance? How to build a hypervisor for maximum performance in my case?
Thank you.

Yes, you will lose performance.
Especially on launches, if they happen often.
And what's wrong with LXC with "convenient management, migration and snapshots"? If the containers are on LVM2, all this should be available to you. And if you want a beautiful web face - take Proxmox, for example.
