Migrating a designer from Windows to Mac OS, will I find all the tools?

Good afternoon.
My half already works as a designer (printing, web layouts, ...) and lately more and more often turns on a laptop with Windows 10 on board, fingers crossed - will it be possible to work today, saving nerves, especially when working in Corel Draw, and now it has become she has a question, which one I publish here on her behalf:
"After a lot of torment in the work of Windows 10, constant "gatherings" of the main working programs, constant freezing of the CorelDraw program, I am already silent about this nightmarish word - REBOOT! and more terrible - UPDATE! The desire to try the apple operating system is increasing. But for me At the moment, the question remains unresolved - How to deal with layouts created in the CorelDraw program? I read that there are converters that allow you to open a cdr file and resave, for example, in ai. But then the question arises - Will the converter also open multi-page documents? And in general there are at least some solution how to stay when working on makosi in CorelDraw? a lot of necessary macros have been written specifically for him. Please share your experience, those who have encountered such problems and how you solved them."
PS I'm aware of Parallels, thanks.

Did you consider the option to figure out why it "flies", freezes and even reboots? Doesn't look like a normal computer. Cut off updates. I generally sit on some old build and don’t blow my mustache.

Try to contact a person who does this professionally (professionally deals with troubleshooting PC hardware and software), if you can’t solve the problem yourself. Alternatively, try changing the OS (from 10 to 7 for example). Updates are easily disabled. There are also server versions of the OS (Windows), which are designed for a fairly rare reboot and increased stability (at least in theory).

Will the converter also open multipage documents?
And under Windows or OS other than MacOS - this converter does not exist, what would you install and check? :)
Another option, Linux + Wine, some versions of Corel, judging by the tests, work very well there.
Otherwise, I agree with the author of the previous answer - all this is very unlike the normal operation of the machine (in your case, two machines). If everything is in order with the machines, it is not difficult to guess that the problem lies in CorelDraw itself and, more likely, the OS has nothing to do with it. In this case, you should either abandon CorelDraw, or try another version (which will work stably).
PS In addition to converters, many graph. editors, incl. vector, can export (save) the results of work not only to their own format, but also to other formats, which, in turn, can be opened by other editors. Including, I do not exclude the fact that AI (possibly) can open files created in Corel.

Move on, don't be afraid. You will be very surprised how you used to live without gestures)
A year and a half ago, I immediately crawled onto the iMac 27 5k and there are no problems with the software at all.
If there is specific software for windows - run Windows under bootcamp or in any available virtual machine.
PS I profile on
PSS interfaces And why Corel? Forget about this harvester already :)

"the desire to try the apple operating system." - the word "try" is not very clear - either you switch to a Mac or you don't, the design is originally a Mac, the coolest design in the world is done on Macs by default. Conclusion - master Illustrator / InDesign and Adobe in general
