Microsoft keyboard 4000. Why doesn't Zoom 2 Scroll work?

I purchased the specified keyboard to replace the BTC 8190 in the hope of using the zoom slider for scrolling. I watched this , this and this instructions with editing the xml file. Didn't work in Intellitype or Mouse and Keyboard Center.
The target program is Firefox and everything else is possible. Win7, 64 bit.
