Is it possible to block the change in microphone sensitivity through, say, the registry? The sensitivity is constantly reset, it is impossible to find the source of the problem, the sensitivity is constantly randomly set in the range of 90-100%

A couple of months ago I was looking for a fix for this auto-tuning, went through a bunch of recommendations, even grabbed a virus and was forced to demolish Windows - nothing helped. This is some kind of poltergates of this OS and it seems to be fixed only at the code level.
