The messenger is quite intelligent: cross-platform, while the functionality of all versions is complete (for example, video communication is possible from a desktop or web), the developers are quite responsive. At the moment, this is the most adequate messenger (whatsapp cannot be fully used because it is tied to only one device, viber is overgrown with advertising, telegrams are struggling with blocking), people just don’t know much about it, and even read negative reviews ...
