There is a shield on each floor, in this shield, as I understand it, a device that sends data from the counter down to the server. There is an electric meter Mercury 231 in the shield. The question is, is it possible to connect mercury with water meters? or impulses will interrupt each other. If not, how can this be done?

The pulses from the water meters go to the converters, which are further connected to the receiver by a protocol (for example, MBus) along the loop. Electric meters are connected by another protocol (CAN, Modbus). You can take a controller with different interfaces, and connect it to a computer where the program is running.
