Menu for the mobile version of the site?

Greetings.
The mobile version of the site requires a menu that opens when you click on a button like this: https://mango.github.io/slideout/ Since I don’t really understand this, there are a lot of different options using jquery and studying them all for quite a long time. Surely, many people used similar menus in their work, selected them, wrote them themselves, they know a lot about this, etc. Please advise a proven and reliable menu for the mobile version with examples.
Requirements:
- minimum code
- correct display on various devices
- only on jquery or css

Advise.

PS
I assume that a question like: "Why not use the menu by link?" - you can use it, but I would like proven options, since I encounter such menus for the first time, maybe there are pitfalls.

"Maybe there are pitfalls" ... friend, you seem to have come into the world of development and technology, you will not learn anything while you are also lazy and waiting for answers and resolutions, and your post is more suitable for freelansim.ru
