There is a 4 x 4 TB array in RAID 5, at the moment the bitmap is located directly on the same array, I'm thinking of trying to transfer it to a USB flash drive, but how rational is that?
In terms of whether there will be a performance hit even more than if it is located directly on the array, and how many records go into it, i.e. whether he will kill the flash drive with overwrites in a short period of time.
