Max CPU temperature in HWMonitor, is it correct?
HWMonitor gives suspiciously high temperatures of the processor in the Max column, despite the fact that under load, the current temperature in the column does not jump higher than 65-66. However, in MAX it shows up to 90 for all cores! What is interesting is that this indicator grows over time, although the load itself remains the same and the current temperature indicator does not change.
At the same time, the percentage itself is loaded by about 50-60% (i7 9700f), besides, it is quite cold by itself (TDP 65w)!
I tried MSI Afterburner, similarly, the real-time temperature indicator under the same load is around the same 65.
Hence the question, does the Max column in HWMonitor turn out to be a bug?
P.S.Y. The cooler is normal, rated up to 130W, the paste is fresh.

Core temperature and heat distribution cover temperature are different values. This can be, for example, due to uneven pressure of the cooler to the processor - in this case, some cores should jump. Maybe because of the poorly polished surface of the cooler. Because of the worthless thermal interface between the crystal and the lid, consider yourself just unlucky here.
Glebys , this can happen if HWMonitor is loaded with the system (at startup). After turning on the PC, the percentage is quite heavily loaded during the boot of the entire system. This can be seen if you go into the BIOS and watch the temperature of the processor - it will quickly rise to high values.
