Malicious programs targeting Habr's audience
I wonder if you had to deal with viruses / trojans (including in browser extensions) or something similar, aimed at the audience of Habrahabr? For example, those involved in cheating votes / karma?
The Habr administration blocked one of my friends for cheating, in which I am 100% sure that he will not do this. I have no complaints against the administration, I fully believe that his account could somehow be used, I just want to figure out how this could happen. The password is strong, so guessing is unlikely.
Shortly before the blocking, he noticed strange behavior on his home computer, when voting for topics, a multiple ajax request occurred, and a lot of error messages popped up.
He did not install specialized extensions for Habr.

It is a pity that the innocent are being cut out, but there are no obvious cheaters of karma like habrahabr.ru/users/dannyhomie/ .
I know another wonderful person with the nickname DbLogs, who was blocked for unknown reasons. It would be great if the administration paid attention to this.
Even a big, twisted karma will not make a sparkling article out of a stupid article.
One of my friends was transferred to read-only in the same way - alternativshik , also allegedly the account was used to cheat votes / karma, but it is not clear how.
It is unlikely that on Linux, using software from the official repositories, you can get some kind of specific virus. It's strange somehow.
Since childhood, we are all well aware of the saying, where the hell is the smoke ... :-) In modern capitalist society, it is interpreted approximately as where there is money, there is fuss! A few years ago, the main goals of real hackers and programmers writing for them were bank injections! But time does not stand still and now you can hardly find a bank from which you can easily withdraw normal amounts by injection, so they began to look for other monetization niches, alas, sometimes smaller ones, including Habr ... met, but privately under Habr not a single injection walks ... :-)
Usually, malware is written for a purpose. I can't imagine the profit to the creator from the above actions of this software.
