Making ios and android one tool?

Are there people here who alone make real applications on cross-platform tools like xamarin? Not hello world, namely writing one code for two platforms at once?
If yes, what tools do you use?

We wrote a cross-platform application on Adobe PhoneGap (former Cordova), quite convenient, screwed up the angular, everything was developed quite quickly, the adaptive layout behaved well both on the iPhone and on the iPad...
But... When we launched the same application on Android, it was just a wild fail. Elements are resized incorrectly (yes, the layout was rewritten), but the worst thing is - wild, no, JUST WILD BRAKES. And this is on a dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
Conclusion: for development on iOS phonegap is cool, for everything else there is Xamarin

On Xamarin, as far as I know, it will be necessary to rewrite part of the code for different platforms
Probably Qt will suit you well if for applications
And if for games, then, for example, Unity3D, Cocos2D, etc., depends on the language
