Make a player on the site to view the archive from DVR / IP cameras?

DVR writes an archive to FTP (or any cloud), online broadcast via rtsp.me, but this is a crutch .. you need your own stream server, I look at the FFmpeg - ffserver - motion stack. Does anyone have experience with this build?
And most importantly, how to tie a player with a selection by archive, timeline to the site (bootstrap / yii)?
