MacOS installation on macbook air2008?

Hello everyone, I ran into such a problem
trying to install macos lion on a macbook air 2008 , the bootloader is
working, I checked it on another poppy,
when choosing a bootloader, an apple is displayed and supposedly loading, but then only a white screen
can anyone come across this?

Try the system version it came with... Mac OS Leopard
