Mac os dock, how to remove indent from collapsed dock?

Such a problem, I made it so that the "dock" would automatically collapse when it is not active, it is located on the left side. And there is not a big indent that annoys me, this indent does not allow the program to fill the entire width of the screen. How to remove this indent?
