Mac OS 10.8 and shutdown?

Good afternoon, there is a poppy axis, there is a script that completes the work on shutdown. The problem is that the work is completed, but when the poppy is turned on, the applications that were open before shutdown are launched, as if there is an option - to launch open applications after logging in. So, how to shut down correctly without launching open applications?

Manually restart the computer via  / Shutdown… with "Restore windows when logging back" unchecked?
