Low CPU frequency in laptop without battery?
Dell 3521 laptop. It has an intel core i3 3217U processor.
The processor operates at a frequency of 0.8 to 1.8 GHz depending on the load.
Everything worked well, but then my battery broke and now the processor only runs at 0.8 GHz. Naturally, everything slows down and it is simply impossible to work. Tried disabling Intel Speedstep in BIOS. Didn't give any result.
How to make the processor work again at a normal frequency?

Нашел решение.
В общем, виноваты копирасты. У зарядника ноута отошел специальный шнур, которым зарядник сообщал ноутбуку, что это фирменный зарядник. Как только припаял этот шнур обратно, то всё стало работать как было.
I have the same problem, a Dell laptop without a battery cuts the processor frequency by 800mhz. I rummaged through many ways, but only one helped - install the ThrottleStop program and disable the BD PROCHOT option in it . The program must be put into autoload using the scheduler (here it is written how to do it - forum.notebookreview.com/threads/the-throttlestop-... ).
