Looking for an online code editor with syntax highlighting (plugin for jQuery?)?

For example, on the page code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/ there is an absolutely wonderful code editor (in this case, JavaScript) with syntax highlighting and much more. Works directly in the browser.
Tell me, has anyone seen him in the wild, so that you can put him instead of TEXTAREA in the admin panel? Or at least something similar (and just as easy)?..

Excellent thank you! ace.ajax.org/ has , by the way, support for SCSS (it's similar to LESS). Codemirror.net doesn't have it...

Still, codemirror.net/ has problems with scrolling speed (when you move the cursor down). Slows down (at least in Firefox it is noticeable compared to a regular textarea).
