Looking for a _working_ manual on how to install a mail server on a VPS?

The simplest, it would seem, action turned out to be a week-long nightmare. Installing Sintora on a freshly created VPS with a domain connection and an establishment through the mail account web interface does not work .
Installing postfix manually as described here doesn't work either.
~~Where the world is heading...~~ Who knows the proven working manuals on how to connect mail to a domain?

PS Please do not offer cPanel, she wants money, then it's easier to tie everything to gmail for $5 per month.

Install the VestaCP panel - it has everything you need. The panel is free and quite reliable.
This is the easiest way.
