There is a "so-so" solution, but cheap and cheerful. You need a USB reader (eg 125 kHz). I used this:

It works as a hid device. At the end of the sending from the ASCII number of the read card, add Enter. Those. if you set the card number as a password, then, for LogOn, it will be enough just to bring the card to the reader.
And why the “so-so” method, I think, is obvious: a digital password of 6 (in my opinion) characters.
