Loading content via PJAX in Yii2?

I want to make a part of the content updated through PJAX, in the layout I did this:

<?php Pjax::begin(); ?>
<?= $content ?>
<?php Pjax::end(); ?>

But this design does not work, how to implement such functionality correctly?
