Literature on telecommunications?

I am a 3rd year student, specializing in telecommunications, I realized late that they won’t teach anything at the university)
I’m looking for a textbook / book on telecommunications (especially wireless communications) where everything is quite clear and deeply considered. Now I'm reading Olifer "Computer networks 4th ed." everything is clear and simple, but not very "deep", after reading which I want to take a closer look at information transfer technologies (and their subtleties) at all levels. It is desirable that the book make a "base" because reading many articles on Habré I understand that I need to tighten the mat. part.
Thank you in advance.

@slahser

It is described in some detail in the book by E. Tanenbaum - Computer networks, which is a classic. I also recommend reading Odom W. - CISCO The official guide to preparing for the CCENTCCNA ICND1 certification exams.
I myself am a 4th year student, majoring in telecommunications, I understand you perfectly :)
