Literature on Objective C - what do you recommend, and where is it better to get a paper book?

My sister was going to retrain from Ph.D. biochemist, into a programmer.
In view of the presence of her iPad and iPhone, he advised her to learn this particular language.
Where would it be better to start training - what should I buy her tomorrow? :)

> The required language of the book is Russian
It was necessary to start with this right away. Then, consider, and there is almost no choice.
In fact, I will offer a course from Lynda - they tell smartly simply, and everything is immediately clear. The diction is clear, so my poor English was not a problem.
For me, perception in the format of lectures is more effective (in terms of time) than reading books, I advise you to try it too.

I think before moving on to Objective-C, you need to master what programming is, in principle, and what the C language is, without this it will be difficult to immediately move on to development for iOS.
For example, you can find good courses on intuit. Both in terms of the base, basic algorithms, and in the C language.
Secondly, without knowledge of English, it is difficult to write something under iOS, Apple's documentation in English is rather confusing, and in Russian it is almost non-existent.
If I misunderstood something, and I want exactly in Objective-C, in the context of iOS, and in Russian, then the book from the Head-First series is in translation, the translation is quite strange, for example, instead of “inheritance” they say “subclassing but the book is good. Actually not the best advice. Starting to learn programming with such a language... it's cruel!
