Listening to the conversation + the ability to give hints to one of the speakers

Hello!
There is a telephony server and some software for it (backend, CRM, etc.).
It already happened that the following request was received: you need to connect to the conversation and be able to prompt one of the speakers.
Actually the questions are:
- how realistic is it to do it at all
- in which direction to dig
I have a telephony yate-server and a self-written backend to it. Interested in all possible solutions, and even if another telephony server is used, or even a third-party one.
