linux window manager
I've been using title window managers quite a lot lately, but it lacks speed and simplicity (it's annoying to stretch your fingers on Ctrl + ...). A few weeks ago, I posted an example of an almost title manager that is completely controlled by NumPad. I wanted to do something like this:
- specifying the position of the window using the numbers 9-1 (grid 3x3, 9 - upper left corner)
- resizing using + and - by 10-15
% 3 keys) and stretched to the full width of the screen
- pressing "." (delete in normal mode) minimizes the window, and double - closes
Any ready-made solutions? And a small offtopic… will the community be interested in an article about the internal structure of X window managers on specific pieces of code?

It's strange that you think numpad control is more convenient than using a combination of meta-keys and symbols. If you are too lazy to reach for the control, then you will always be completely tormented to shift your hand to the numpad.
Yes, and on laptops with numpads it’s very hard.
In the same awesome wm, this can be implemented, but the config will have to be cut decently.
But there are no ready-made solutions out of the box, in my opinion.
