Linux Ubuntu - Won't reboot or shutdown?
What is the essence of the problem. Installed the latest build of Linux Ubuntu. Installed, configured, optimized on the tutorial from Habr https://habrahabr.ru/post/127889/
I am doing a
reboot ....
Ubuntu icon ...
black screen, that's it. As I understand the OS - it turns off and the computer does not. The same thing if you turn it off (I also tried both through the console).
Tried in /etc/default/grub
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="reboot=p"
and
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="reboot=b"
sudo update-grub
And reboot - DID NOT help.
I interrupted and installed it on a new OS - it did NOT help ...
Please tell me what to do ???

Even without seeing your configuration, I can say with 100% accuracy that you replaced CONCURRENCY=none with CONCURRENCY=shell, so this is a real bug, there was already a comment about this on the net. Return it and you will be happy.
the file seems to be gedit /etc/init.d/rc
I can say with confidence: for 15+ years of using Windows, this has never happened on any of the systems. In general, this is also not an answer, but a recommendation on the topic.
