Linux, topic for the diploma?

Good evening.
Year 5 is coming soon, you need to choose a topic. I'd like something to do with Linux.
A Google search gave advice on writing your own drivers, organizing a corporate server, and so on. Didn't like anything.
From skills - layout, in my free time I study Php and JavaScript. Interested in Python, but don't have time to learn yet.
I have been using Ubuntu for about six months, while at the level of a novice user.
I would not want the topic to be related to iron.
I would be very grateful for any advice on the topic!

Start by analyzing possible solutions to the problem. There are many requirements for the design and content of the diploma. so even if you take a technical topic, in the end you will only be required to design and all sorts of justifications for expediency. Look and find out what managers are available, the ratio of the technical part / water depends on them. Find out how your diplomas are written, look at other people's diplomas.
The bottom line is that perhaps you shouldn’t take a technically complex topic, since with the help of a diploma you still won’t be able to concentrate on it, but it’s easier to take something simpler for protection, and then study the technical part yourself.
