How to forward ports for VPN IKEv2?
Hey!
I want to make a home vpn IKEv2 server on
ubuntu
18.04 to connect to it from
macos Router forwarded ports 500,1701,4500 - UDP to 192.168.1.184
Can't connect to vpn via DDNS, says the server is not responding.
At the same time, connecting directly to 192.168.1.184 works fine
. Also, for the test, I raised the http server to 80, forwarded the port for it and it works via DDNS
. Tell me, please, where could be the problem?
Perhaps I did not forward all the ports or something needs to be added to the firewall settings?
Thank you!

Turn on the logs on the bootloader and see if the connection comes in, if at least the first phase passes. Also forward the ESP protocol. Well, of course, NAT-T is allowed in the settings - you will need it.
It also seems to me that the problem is in the IPsec settings on the server and the NAT=yes setting is missing.
