Linux or windows for web development with yii2 framework?

I'm starting to learn php & mysql, I was advised to use the yii2 framework right away.
I heard that it will be easier with Linux than with Windows.
Previously, I used a Linux scrap (I don’t remember what exactly it was), I also used Ubuntu, but only for review.
Is it worth switching from Windows to Linux?

Sooner or later you will run into a wall in windows. Some things from webdev, the same rails, work adequately only on Linux. Although windows' latest statements about linux integration make you wonder ...

Switching from Windows to Linux is not worth it.
It is worth throwing out Windows when you already understand that you don’t need it for hell.
While this is not there, there will be throwing, topics on forums and other waste of time.

vague question. Are you on an IDE for yourself? And the point is, if you write code on a remote machine, then it doesn’t matter what OS you use. For example, I use Komodo Edit and I have a code stored on a remote computer, all operations take place through ftp, sometimes I correct errors through the ssh editor.
