Linux Dolphin how to edit files via FTP?

Good afternoon!
I recently started using Ubuntu KDE, today I discovered working through Dolphin via FTP. The ideal solution for editing projects without downloading to the machine.
Tell me how to achieve editing files directly in a network folder? I use Sublime Text and when changing a file in a network folder, Dolphin just hangs. If you copy it to a PC, change it and upload it back - it works.

Option 1) Download - edit - send back.
Option 2) Mount remote directory via curlftpfs.

You can just as well (but easier and more compatible) edit remote projects in the mc manager. Through its "FTP connection" or "Shell connection" panels (which is actually an SSH session).

Better discover work WITHOUT ftp.
Editing projects without downloading to a machine is not a priori ideal solution.
Close to ideal might be using git, for example.
