Linux Cluster, how and with what to cook?

Good afternoon, I’m reading a book about Linux OS, I became interested in the topic of clusters, raised the mysql cluster, everything is fine and clear, there are fresh materials if you need to clarify where.
The question arises, what next? what other types of clusters are there in Linux ?, I understand it depends on the task at hand, but in most cases, which clusters do you have to raise?
There are articles about clusters on the Internet from 2009, because of this I want to clarify which clusters are being raised now, and which articles should be read, which packages to install and train.
thanks in advance.

the easiest option is if the site is on Bitrix, then the cluster can be made Bitrix a virtual machine, it supports clustering by itself, well, of course, you will have to finish it a little there, but everything will seem to work according to Feng Shui.

openSUSE has the ha-bootstrap package. It allows you to build a cluster based on Pacemaker and one of the distributed file systems - OCFS2 or GFS2.
In combination with the xen hypervisor, this cluster makes it easy to organize live migration of VMs from node to node, as well as organize their backup through snapshots.
There's also the Kerrighed platform, a special version of Linux that presents multiple computers as one with lots of memory and a combined number of processors.
There is also PelicanOS - a live CD for automatically deploying an MPI cluster - an interface for performing parallel scientific calculations
