Hi, I'm doing website development and I'm looking for solutions to simulate speed limiting.
To see how sites load and services work in conditions of a slow or unstable connection (this is very important for mobile sites).
Interested in both solutions for the entire system, and in the form of plug-ins for browsers.
Windows platform.

update. Now Chrome can do this in the mobile device emulation mode, it’s quite possible to virtually limit the connection speed.

when there was a similar situation - they just tested from a phone / from a phone distributing 3g over wifi

, often lags are more annoying than a band,
especially if the interface is tied to a bunch of small ajaxes (each of which downloads 1-2kb)
