Light text editor, replacement for notepad?

Hello, advise some lightweight text editor for Windows, which could replace the standard notepad.
Two requirements:
1. maximum speed
2. dark theme
It will also be a plus if it displays all the spaces / tabs in the file, but this is not necessary.

UPD: I was hoping to find something other than notepad++, but apparently this is really the only alternative to notepad

AkelPad 2.1.4.
Both points are fulfilled; only there is not a “theme”, but the assignment of a color to the font and background.
